30 Day Challenge - Day 9
Welcome back to your Body Groove 30 Day Discovery Challenge!
Right now you’re on Day 9 and I want to make one thing crystal clear before we go on.
Wherever you’re at with the challenge, whether you’ve done every single one, missed a few, or are even just getting started today, it’s all PERFECT just the way it is!
Judging yourself and comparing yourself to “what could’ve been” will do you no good. In fact, it’ll reverse or delay any progress you could be making by just simply leaning into the PRESENT MOMENT. Right NOW is all you have. So wherever you’re at, let’s start today from there.
Now where were we...oh yeah, as you know I’m a big fan of giving your body lots of delicious movement but today, we’re going to talk about something equally important: stillness and meditation. Sitting still and giving your attention to your body, your breath and your mind is one of the most important things you can do to stay healthy yet it’s often neglected. People think they’re being “unproductive” if they do these types of things but from my experience, you can actually slow down to speed up your results in life.
When you make FEELING GOOD a top priority in your life, you infuse an energy into everything that do and open yourself to what feels like absolute magic!
In today’s workshop lesson, we’ll talk about how to get started with this life-giving practice. So let’s dive in!
We’ll start with my take on how to introduce meditation into your daily practices, and then of course we’ll get our groove on.
While watching and joining me in my “Intro to Meditation” video today, my hope is that you’ll think about the things in your life that you’d either like to re-write, or the future that you’re going to create. By mindful of how you can create a peaceful inner world. You can create a relaxing environment. You can be present with your life and your inner self. Don’t forget to write down your thoughts and aspirations.
